This office interior in Istanbul is an architectural project by Katerina Pikhtina, where minimalism intertwines with subtle notes of Japandi philosophy. Light tones, natural textures, and precise lines shape a space where one can easily focus, work, and think clearly.
The main objective of the project was not only to provide a comfortable environment for business, but also to subtly reflect the company’s maritime focus. This narrative unfolds in the details: the reception desk echoes the ocean floor, flowing from stone textures into translucent resin. The lounge chairs resemble coastal boulders, and the fabric patterns mimic the ripples left by the tide on the sand.
The maritime theme continues in the restroom, where metal finishes and clean geometry allude to a ship-like aesthetic—reimagined through a calm and functional lens.
The final result is a light-filled, composed, and genuinely functional workspace. Nothing feels superfluous—only intention, structure, and a clear sense of space crafted for people and their work.
