This project in the Northern Capital of Russia united two adjacent apartments into a single residential layout with a clearly defined separation between adult and children’s zones.
The clients have a strong preference for natural materials, earthy hues, and soft, visually tranquil textures — without bold accents or stark contrasts. That’s why the design features suede, natural stone with pronounced texture, and delicate metallic elements that lend depth and expressiveness to the interior. Wood is virtually absent — a conscious choice by the owners.
A distinctive element of the project is the structural columns preserved during the renovation. Rather than concealing them, we made them compositional focal points: one column was seamlessly embedded into the kitchen island, becoming its architectural core, while the other established the rhythm of the living area.
