Katerina PikhtinaArchitect & Interior Designer Premium brand expert Artist, Speaker Saint Petersburg: the point of origin I remember how, as a child, my mother gave me a pencil — and I didn’t want to let it go. For more than 20 years, I’ve lived in a city where even the rain knows how to draw — right on the cobblestones beneath your feet. I graduated from the College of Architecture and Civil Engineering and then from the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Later, I continued my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. These institutions played an important role in my professional development, but it was real practice — actual work, mistakes, and the constant search for unconventional solutions — that truly made me who I am. 250 completed projects in 11 countries — these are not just numbers Private residences, apartments, offices, restaurants, hotels — this isn’t just our work. It’s thousands of hours on construction sites, client meetings, consultations with engineers, and the pursuit of “just the right” solution. From cinemas in Saint Petersburg to offices in Istanbul, from villas in Spain to salons in the UAE — every project carries a part of me, a part of my soul that I’ve put into it. Not just interiors — legacy My approach is never about decoration for the sake of a “wow” effect. It’s about depth. It’s about functionality, brought to perfection. It’s about the light that glides across marble in the morning. It’s about spaces you want to return to again and again. I listen closely — to the client and to the space. A historic mansion asks to preserve its original moldings. A modern office calls for openness and air. Because architecture is a dialogue. I invite you to listen with me — to what usually remains silent — and to experience the beauty of space at its most profound. |
Ironman? No problem Through triathlon, I learned one essential truth: if you want to reach the finish line, you have to fall in love with the process. The same applies to design. An Ironman’s 226 kilometers are like an elite residential project: first comes understanding the scale, then detailed planning, meticulous execution, countless adjustments — and finally, the finish line, when you think: “I’d do it all again!”. Designing the future with respect for the past Every interior I create is more than a project — it’s a story. My mission is to translate a client’s individuality into a space that will remain relevant for decades. I blend tradition with contemporary design, turning interiors into living legacies — for you and the generations that follow. An architect is not just a profession. It is a responsibility. A responsibility to the client who entrusts us with their space. To the city, which becomes better with every project we complete. And to myself — because I believe that even fifty years from now, our work should still inspire admiration. If you’re looking not just for design, but for legacy — let’s create it together! |
