When a Kitchen Becomes a Sculpture — Henrytimi at Salone del Mobile 2025
Continuing to share my notes from Salone del Mobile Milano 2025.
One of the most memorable booths was the installation by Henrytimi — minimalist, yet filled with a powerful, almost primal energy. Here, the focus isn’t on functionality, but on tactility. Stone, texture, simplicity. Everything looks like part of the landscape — as if nature itself created this kitchen.
A fascinating shift: the familiar utilitarian object stops being a "kitchen" in the traditional sense. It becomes a monolithic sculpture. Alive. Breathing. Meaningful. This is not just a piece of furniture — it’s an architectural statement.
Henrytimi continues to explore the boundary between nature and design. There is no decoration for decoration’s sake. Only honest materials, free forms, and respect for texture.
