Salone del Mobile Milano 2025: Lighting

This marks the beginning of a series of reflections on Salone del Mobile 2025, and I’d like to share my first impressions.

One of the most striking trends this year was a radically new approach to lighting — where reflections, shadows, and delicate highlights took precedence over the light sources themselves. Light is no longer merely functional; it has become a dynamic architectural element, shaping lines, amplifying forms, and transforming spaces with mood and movement.

Imagine how subtle, refined reflections can shift your entire perception of a room — adding depth, richness, and nuance. These kinds of design gestures are what inspire me most. They open up new creative possibilities, and I’m already exploring ideas I look forward to weaving into future projects.
